Catherine Christie was recently approached to commission two pieces of art by Shashi Naidoo, an accomplished model also well known as a TV presenter, an actress and a professional celebrity. When she decided to fill two very specific spaces in her beautiful Gauteng home, it is no wonder she chose them to display paintings by the renowned South African Abstract Artist, Catherine Christie.

After looking at Catherine’s online gallery, Shashi knew without hesitation that she had found what she was looking for. Although Catherine is now incredibly busy as the CEO of The ToLife Group, she still paints special commissions for clients, who liaise with her online. There is a certain amount of synergy between these two celebrities, in that both beautiful, intelligent and incredibly talented women are now running their own successful businesses.

Shashi launched Alushi Model Management, a boutique agency in Gauteng, to offer something unique to South African models as well as her clients. She takes a personal interest in her models and shares with them the experience that has lead her to a place at the top – The right attitude and a hard-working state of mind play as much a part as a beautiful body and face do in the industry
